The Brandon League of Fine Arts (BLFA) invites Florida artists to submit work for our judged exhibition at Center Place Fine Arts and Civic Association. This show celebrates the composition and rhythm of visual media.

The exhibition runs for two weeks at Center Place Fine Arts and Civic Association. Please note the public viewing schedule:

Public Viewing: May 21-23. The first three days of the exhibit are open to the general public.

Private Viewing: May 24-June 2. For the remainder of the two-week duration, the gallery will be available exclusively to guests attending private events at Center Place.

Virtual Show: Following the physical exhibit, artists may opt-in to have their work showcased in our virtual gallery on the BLFA website through the end of June.

Important Dates

Submission Deadline: Wednesday, May 6, 2026

Artwork Drop-off: Wednesday, May 20, 2–7 PM

Exhibition Dates: May 21 – June 2, 2026

Artists Reception and Awards Ceremony: Friday, May 22, 6-8PM

Artwork Pick-up: Wednesday, June 3, 2–7 PM

Note: Work not picked up will be auctioned or donated to charity.

Location
Center Place Fine Arts 619 Vonderburg Dr, STE B, Brandon, FL 33511 (Located in the Brandon Regional Library building.)
Eligibility & Artwork Rules

Participants: Living artists in Florida, ages 15+.
-
Accepted Mediums: This is an all-media, two-dimensional (wall-mounted) exhibition. This includes traditional media (oil, acrylic, watercolor, etc.), photography, and digitally created art.

Professional Display: All work must be "gallery-ready." Photography and digital art must be professionally printed and meet all framing standards.

Originality: Works must be original and completed within the last 5 years.

Prohibited: Reproductions/prints, AI-generated art, copyright-protected images, or works mirroring instructor lessons.

Content: Family-friendly venue. No nudes, political, or overtly violent works. BLFA reserves the right to refuse any entry.

Size/Weight: Max 36” in any direction (including frame). Max weight: 15 lbs.

Multi-piece Works: Diptychs/triptychs count as one entry but must meet size/weight limits. They must be photographed together for the entry.
Hanging Requirements

Preparation: Must be professional-quality frames or gallery-wrapped canvas (no visible staples).

Hardware: Must have hanging wire attached with D-hooks. No sawtooth or eye-screws and no plastic or easel-back frames.

Labeling: Name, title, medium, and contact info must be affixed to the back of each piece.

Members: $15 per entry (Max 3)

Non-Members: $20 per entry (Max 3)

Important: Entry fees are non-refundable and must be received by the May 6, 2926, deadline. A $40 fee will be charged for any returned checks, and future entries from the artist will require cash payment.
Awards & Sales

Awards: 1st ($200), 2nd ($125), 3rd ($75), and two Honorable Mentions ($25) and Sponsor’s Choice ($25).

Sales: Handled directly between artist and buyer. No commission is collected. Mark work as NFS (Not for Sale) or POR (Price on Request) if applicable.
Image Submission Guidelines
Email high-quality JPEGs (under 10MB each) to blfabrandon@gmail.com.

Quality: Crop image to show artwork only (no frames, mats, or backgrounds). Ensure correct orientation.

Acknowledgment: You will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive one, please reach out.
Liability & Rights
BLFA, Music Showcase, and Center Place are not liable for submitted artwork. A signed waiver (emailed in advance) is required at drop-off. By entering, the artist grants BLFA permission to use images of the work for marketing purposes; the artist retains all other rights.
